Welcome to my view of the world, where I try to celebrate the beauty I see in a grand vista or a small detail. I hope that my training as an architect comes through in my photography, even when the subject is not architecture.

My images are exhibited in several galleries contained in my PORTFOLIO. Additional images in the same categories can be accessed in my PHOTO ARCHIVES.

If you wish to purchase any of my images, please use the listed shops for directions on how to purchase items like coasters, limited edition framed prints, limited edition metal framed prints, and my four photo books.

You can always contact me directly on my contact page. Thank you.

THIS IS A DETAIL OF THE TOWER AT PORTLAND'S UNION STATION, WHERE THIS PLAINTIVE PLEA APPEARS ON TWO SIDES OF THE TOWER. CLOCK TOWERS BECAME TRADITIONAL ELEMENTS OF TRAIN STATIONS SINCE SUDDENLY THE EXACT TIME WAS IMPORTANT TO TRAVELERS TRYING TO CATCH THEIR TRAIN. MOST PEOPLE'S NOTION OF THE TIME HAD BEEN FORMERLY BASED ON THE POSITION OF THE SUN IN THE SKY, WHICH ONLY GOT THEM WITHIN AN HOUR OF THE REAL TIME. THE ABSENCE OF SUNSHINE ONLY COMPOUNDED THE PROBLEM IN THE ROSE CITY.
