My photography is concerned with making sense of the world, especially in seeing and celebrating the beauty of the built environment. I hope that my architectural training informs my view of the world, even if the subject is not architecture, and that my perspective as a practicing architect colors my photographs of buildings, even if they are thousands of years old.
I have had the opportunity to live in New York City, London, Washington, D.C. and for the past 18 years in the best European city in the United States, Portland, Oregon. If you are in Portland, I regularly take part in keeping Portland weird by selling my work each weekend at Portland's Saturday Market under the Burnside Bridge. Hope to see you there.
